Lift Studios interviews eightprime

Frederick Brummer from Lift Studios came to my house a while ago and had me rant at his camera machine for posterity. The fruits of that interview are up on the lift website in full-screen flashy loveliness.

Part one is pretty good, part two is funnier (the little transport bar at the top of the window has the link to part two) and contains valuable advice for participants the Vancouver underground electronic music scene.

It all started with this video

Which led me back to the GRL Laser Tag installation in Rotterdam, which I’ve long admired (Though until now I hadn’t read the how-to. If anyone would like to help me procure a heap of pricey tech, this would be fun to do on the south wall of the sugar refinery.

Right now I am looking at learning vvvv, but here is a video about a book on Processing that makes a pretty compelling case for learning that environment.
