There was a dude who played between their sets who was also awesome – big, spacious, fuzzy bangers. very very nice.

The wiring at the Astoria maybe leaves something to be desired – powerbars plugged into powerbars plugged into powerbars…eek. We managed to blow the main breaker for everything past the pool tables and had to sacrifice a projector to reduce power draw, alas. But the place sounded brilliant.

Met some new people and saw some folks I hadn’t seen in a while. Also climbed around the ceiling. Good times.

Low Indigo is irregular, ongoing and highly recommended.

Left to my own devices I don’t see too much dawn – mostly only on special occasions. But the early morning is awesome! The light comes from a whole different place in the sky than I’m used to, the streets are relatively quiet and everything looks new.
